Entry: Verso, Viaje, Lobo Monday, February 11, 2008

My Saturday started very ordinary. I woke-up early and ate breakfast. I packed my bag and checked my books and notebooks for Spanish class. I rode a tricycle, jeep and the LRT… walked until I reached the edifice of Instituto Cervantes. I waited at the bar because I was 30 minutes early for the class. My eyes seek for something interesting on sight until I saw some verses posted in the wall. The verses were the same things posted randomly in the LRT. One of the verses caught my attention.

“Si alguna vez la vida de maltrata, acuérdate de mi,

Kung sakaling malupit sa iyo ang kapalaran, alalahanin mo ako,

Que no puede cansarse de esperar

Dahil hindi mapapagod sa paghihintay

Aquel que no se cansa de mirarte…

Itong walang sawang tumitingin sa iyo…”

Luis Garcia Montero (Granada, 1961- )

Wouldn’t it be nice to ponder that someone is looking at you in a beautiful never ending manner? After reading and writing this verse to my journal I sat on the orange sofa opposite the bar. When I looked on the stairs, I saw a familiar face. It’s one of the people I don’t see every time I went to that place. A quick hi and hello and my day was more interesting. The schedule was posted by Marie –at last. Nivel 7 was divided into two (2). One was of the classes would be using a room in the ground floor and the other the multimedia room. I waited for the corrections in the room assignments until Joan came. We got to see the final room assignment and went-up to the aula Multimedia. We are happy to see that we are still classmates (Pat, Kat, Kate, Joan and me – Greg was on the other class). We met one of the most interesting teachers –Ms. Ana Marie. She was a very soft spoken mother-like person. She transcends people listening to her like you were listening to a mother’s lullaby. We definitely loved her! A new tense was taught –the preterito pluscuamperfecto –ouch! After the class we saw Ana and decided to take some pictures before pat and I leave for lunch.

Meeting the old and a new...

Pat and I talked about stuff over lunch at Jollibee. I decided not to join the gang (kalai-pat-ria) in Pampanga. After a long talk- I decided to come anyway (lols). We dropby the GABC office to pick-up ryan (an old officemate that will join us to meet the dressmaker). We drove along NLEX until we meet ate Sol. Ate Sol was a jolly person. She was one of Pat’s trusted “mananahi”. After a long discussion and a few sip of coke and much of chocolates and macapuno balls we left her house to drop ryan to the fx terminal. Pat and ian went to SM Marilao to wait for the others (Ria-Kalai-daboi). We spent our time malling and eating dinner. We even encountered the only male sales of a known female undergarment in the department store. We had a quick chat with the guy and few questions. He was so kind and very gentleman indeed. We rushed to the car after everything and waited there for our friends’ arrival. They arrived past 9pm. We drove to the nearest gasoline station along NLEX with food shops to have dinner. And took some pictures: Meeting the old and a new... (1st time) Pat-Kalai-Ria and ian to be together plus meeting "daboy" for the first time (lols).

We drove all the way to Clarkfield pampanga because the Balloon fiesta will start 5:30am. I wasn't supposed to be joining these friends of mine but... I did- we needed to sleep and every single hotel/apartelle in Clark Pampanga was fully-booked that night (it's almost 1 am) we checked-in in an inn (lolls) and we are delighted and excited to see the Hot-air Baloons for tomorrow...

Unang gabi sa isang Motel

Early morning, I woke up and woke-up everyone else. Quick showers and we are all set to see the balloons. Yey! It’s a wondrous experience.

Lipad-lobo-lipad : 10th of February 2008, Ang unang gala naming magkakasama nina Pat-Kalai at Ria (+daboi). Nakakapagod/nakakastress na byahe ngunit isang araw na puno ng kasiyahan. Ang mga makukulay na lobo at aking mga kaibigan...

After the balloons flew we checked the booths and exhibit.

Ian with the soldiers... : After the balloons flew we spent a little more time in the place to just sit down and chit-chat plus get some pictures with the men in uniform lols...

We are all starving and we decided to go somewhere else to have lunch.

Lunch at Gerry's Grill sa SM Clark: Matapos ng panonood ng mga lobo ay nantili kami sa SM Clark upang kumain ng tanghalian matapos makita si Che(She) .

It was a long wonderful weekend for me. I arrived almost 4pm at our home and woke-up 5:30am this morning….
